At present, the common diagnostic method of biliary tract diseases is cholangiography. During cholangiography, doctors need to use cholangiogram forceps. The following is a brief introduction to the use of cholangiogram medical forceps.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Each cholangiogram crocodile forceps must be cleaned and disinfected before and after the first use. Appropriate cleaning, inspection and maintenance help ensure the availability of surgical instruments and prolong the operation time and the life of the cholangiogram alligator forceps. All instruments should be thoroughly cleaned, inspected and tested and disinfected before use. Clean and rinse immediately after each use. Otherwise, tissue particles or dry secretions may adhere to the device, which may make subsequent cleaning and disinfection difficult. Therefore, no foreign matter is allowed on the equipment.

Handling, Storage and Sterilization

Extreme care must be taken when using, transporting, cleaning, disinfecting and storing. If the cholangiogram medical clamps forceps are handled incorrectly, or the device is used for something other than the intended purpose, the function and safety of the device may be compromised.

Cleaning

Rinse with deionized water to remove all tissue debris from the cholangiogram sutter bipolar forceps. Use pH detergent or enzyme detergent and soft brush to clean the handle and shaft of the kocher forceps. Wire brushes and abrasives should not be used to clean the equipment, which can cause damage to the adsons forceps.

Since the cholangiogram sponge holder forceps have no flushport, we recommend cleaning the instrument shaft from the distal end. Slide a silicone tube onto the jaw assembly to ensure that the hinge is covered from the distal end. Use a syringe and rinse with deionized water to soften any debris. After rinsing, air should be injected to purge any debris and dry it. It allows smooth and simple regulation of water or air flow over the entire range of trigger movement. Rinsing, suction or drying can be performed in each application area through a set of eight accessories.

Sterilization

Steam Autoclaving: When packing cholangiogram needle forceps, ensure that all complete instruments and all parts are packaged separately or sealed in sterile packages. Metallic objects should not be in contact with the insulating material of the tweezers and handles or the RF connection cable. Such contact points will lead to severe melting.

ETO Sterilization: Instruments can be sterilized with ethylene oxide in any standard cycle. Pressure readings should not exceed 12 PSI. Temperature should not exceed 68.3 C (155 F). It is recommended to follow the manufacturer's instructions on humidity, vacuum, cycle time, gas concentration and temperature of the ETO sterilization unit.

Sterrad Sterilization Process including Sterrad NX: The sterilization process is a multifunctional sterilization process that utilizes a combination of exposure to hydrogen peroxide vapor and plasma to influence sterilization. Sterrad NX sterilizers can sterilize devices with diffusion-limited space, such as the articulated parts of tweezers and scissors. Follow the sterilization instructions provided by the manufacturer.

Rapid Autoclaving (rapid heating/cooling cycles): Rapid autoclaving shortens the life of an instrument, especially when it is composed of a variety of materials, including different expansion rates.
